Inawisdom is a high-growth, scale-up business. We are leaders in Machine Learning, AI and Cloud Computing (AWS) and are recruiting for a Presales Consultant to join our fast paced, exciting technology environment on a permanent basis at Adastral Park, near Ipswich, Suffolk.

Role & Responsibilities

  • You will be working on the presales for a variety of customers (start-up to large corporate), across many industry sectors, reporting to the Head of Presales
  • Preparation of customer artifacts including: Proposals; Capability Documents; Case Studies; RFI/RFP/ITT
  • Working closely with customers, Sales team and with the wider Delivery organisation, to understand customer challenges and requirements, and help shape cloud-based solutions to achieve business goals
  • Preparation / input / management / review of technical documentation for inclusion in sales proposals. This includes potential solutions for clients, and the associated costs for their delivery
  • You will help position the solution with customers through discussion and presentation, have competitive awareness, discuss and articulate the options from both a technical and business perspective
  • Ensure skills and market knowledge are up to date through product familiarisation, training and research activities
  • Provide briefings/training to the sales team on products/technologies and their relevance to our propositions and target customers

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the software/IT services sector, ideally in a business integration or enterprise solutions environment
  • Experience of Amazon Web Services (AWS) services and solutions and their associated benefits
  • Able to demonstrate an awareness of the structure, functions and business environment within an organisation
  • You will have a technical background with a sales blend specialising in the presales activity to support selling cloud-based solutions
  • Must be commercially aware with a delivery focused attitude
  • Bright, outgoing with a confident and assertive approach
  • Creative and innovative approach to problem solving – a can-do attitude
  • Good writing and presentation skills, with the ability to produce creative and compelling presentation material in PPTX format
  • First class customer facing skills

Desirable: 

  • Understanding and exposure to Machine learning, AI and Data Science
  • Understanding and exposure to advanced data analytics and the required data platform (e.g. data lake, ETL)
  • Experience across multiple private sector industry sectors
  • Experience in public sector
  • Experience of public cloud solutions
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office based tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Graduate or related professional qualification or MSc
  • Flexible on work/location/time
